Initial linework copied from 100K hydrologic units coverage (see HUCS cover). 2. Where basin boundaries did not conform to HUCS coverage, linework compiled on USGS 1:100,000 quad series maps from 24K and 62.5K USGS quad maps that the IDWR Water Allocation Bureau staff had used to delineate the IDWR basin boundaries on. Boundaries digitized from the 100K maps in pcARC/INFO 3.4 Arcedit. 3. Basin numbers checked against an IDWR 1M map. 4. Remove basins not in NIA. Merge IDWR admin basins into NIA basin based on IDWR documents.
