Water-level data were compiled from the mass water-level measurement event conducted in the spring of 2023.
Groundwater elevations were calculated by subtracting measured depth-to-water (in feet below ground surface) from ground surface elevation.
The groundwater elevations were interpolated across the ESPAM2.2 model area using the Geostatistical Analyst tools in ArcMap 10.8.2.
The interpolated groundwater elevation raster was generated using ordinary kriging.
25 ft interval groundwater elevation contours were generated from the raster using the ArcMap contour tool found in the Spatial Analyst tools.
Groundwater contours were smoothed using the Smooth Line tool with a tolerance of 2 miles.
Additional minor adjustments were manually performed in some areas to align with known and/or realistic groundwater flow conditions.
