Service Description: IDWR has divided the state into over 50 administrative basins in order to coordinate water management activities. Most of these basins are represented with polygons, but the Snake River constitutes a large enough resource that it is separated into basins of its own, each represented by a line. Basin 1 corresponds to that portion of the Snake River from the Wyoming border to Milner Dam, Basin 2 represents Milner Dam to where the Snake River leaves Idaho into Oregon, and Basin 3 stretches from where the Snake re-enters Idaho to where it leaves the state at Lewiston.
