Service Description: This enhanced mosaic was created using a combination of true-color and false-color satellite images in combination with an NDVI image. An initial medium-resolution satellite image mosaic of Idaho was developed from 19 individual Landsat images from the summers of 1997 and 1998. The pixel value for the final image mosaic was dependent on the NDVI value. If NDVI values were greater than or equal to 0.25 the False Color image was used, for NDVI values below 0.25 the True Color image was used.
