Service Description:

Consumptive use is the portion of the volume of water diverted under a water right that is consumed in the process of irrigating lands for crop cultivation. The consumptive use requirement is based on the most water-consumptive crop in the area, generally rounded to the next highest 0.5 acre-foot/year/acre.
